If only those were possible to unsee.

Unfortunately, even the best shows sometimes have their own big failures. The Big Bang Theory fandom has always been one of the most loyal fandoms on the web, sticking by their favorite sitcom against all odds.

However, that doesn't mean that fans are willing to turn a blind eye to every major misstep.

Here are the 5 worst episodes of The Big Bang Theory, as ranked by Reddit viewers. Although, if it were possible, they would all never exist.

5. The Fortification Implementation (S8E20)

This episode wouldn't be half as bad if the writers decided to remember at least once in a show.

Howard's half-brother is introduced to the viewers like he's supposed to be a big deal and they should remember him and care about him, but in reality he never shows up again.

Viewers are usually just confused as to whether he was even necessary.

4. The Speckerman Recurrence (S5E11)

It's not that everyone doesn't enjoy being reminded of their own bullies, but this episode gets too close and personal for many.

When watching a sitcom, viewers usually want to unwind after a hard day at work, but instead they get a therapy session. Besides, after Young Sheldon, it's just too weird to see Lance Barber in the same universe.

3. The Skank Reflex Analysis (S5E1)

This one is just cringy and uncomfortable to watch. At this point, the friendship between Penny and Raj must have been recognized enough to not mess things up with unnecessary hookups.

What the writers probably thought would refresh the show ended up being one of the worst episodes of season 5.

2. The Habitation Configuration (S6E7)

One of the worst episodes for Amy and Sheldon, where she acts very out of character and gets into a fight with Wil Wheaton, and her boyfriend gets caught in the middle.

Amy was portrayed as downright crazy and given no motive for acting the way she did, while Sheldon took Wil's side and created even more problems between them (but rightfully so).

1. The Commitment Determination (S8E24)

Many fans feel that the entire arc of Penny and Leonard's wedding should never have happened. Although this episode technically continues in Season 9, this episode in particular feels the most inappropriate and harsh for Penny.

She deserves the wedding she always wanted, not to the person who just admitted to cheating on her. It was just heartbreaking to watch.
