4. Howard and Bernadette

This has to do with Bernadette's snide comments and constant yelling at Howard, which some might even consider abusive.

Unfortunately, their marriage is far from perfect, and that's why the last place seems totally fair.

3. Leonard and Penny

There was a very close fight between second and third place. In fact, Leonard and Penny were only 3 votes away from moving up.

Hardcore fans adore their love story because it had its own ups and downs. It was also the longest, as both characters were original to the show.

2. Sheldon and Amy

At the very beginning of the show, no one would believe that Sheldon Cooper could ever find someone to put up with him, let alone fall in love with him.

However, Amy Fowler, his perfect match, has proved everyone wrong.

Viewers adore how both characters have matured and grown throughout their relationship, and that's why this couple will always hold a special place in the hearts of viewers.
