A Reddit user shared their observation on one The Big Bang Theory episode that surprisingly referenced both Barbie and Oppenheimer.

The Big Bang Theory is a TV sitcom that aired from 2007 to 2019. TBBT has become so praised for its unique blend of humor, intellect, and pop culture references.

In the episode titled The Panty Piñata Polarization from season 2, we see a hilarious and somewhat intense clash between Sheldon and Penny. The conflict starts over something as trivial as Penny touching Sheldon's onion ring.

This leads to a memorable exchange in the laundry room where Sheldon warns Penny, "Woman, you are playing with forces beyond your ken." Penny, in her usual witty style, retorts, "Yeah, well your Ken can kiss my Barbie."

This exchange is a clever play on words, with Ken and Barbie being iconic dolls, and "ken" also meaning knowledge or understanding. The dialogue is a playful banter that often ensues between Sheldon and Penny.

As the episode progresses, the conflict escalates, and Leonard decides to intervene. He hands Penny a piece of paper with a number on it, revealing it to be “Sheldon's Kryptonite.”
