Not many shows have such a privilege.

After all the drama surrounding the production of Yellowstone had died down and the Internet had stopped trying to make more news out of it, the one undeniable truth had to settle in with both the fans and the crew behind the show.

This chapter of the journey is coming to an end, and whether you want it or not, it has to be accepted.

The fans of the show are equally divided into two camps, those who are actively mourning the show they loved and thinking of ways to prolong it, and those who have buried Yellowstone long before it was actually gone.

While the show has never stopped being fun to watch for anyone who enjoys the beauty of the Midwest, the plot has weakened over the years, and many people have simply lost interest.

Fortunately, at this point, Taylor Sheridan 's Yellowstone universe had grown so large with all the prequels that there was just enough content to keep the audience happy.

But that doesn't mean that Yellowstone doesn't deserve the best sendoff the series can get. And while no one knows for sure if the upcoming episodes will be the final ones, or when they will be released, Taylor Sheridan is sure to have the last word on how it ends.

“If I think it takes 10 episodes to wrap it up, they’ll give me 10. It’ll be as long as it needs to be,” the creator of the show said in his latest interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

For the fans who have been getting nothing but heartbreaking news about their favorite show for almost half a year now, seeing this is already comforting enough to be happy about.

Of course, Yellowstone's ending will be far from ideal, and many viewers would still agree that the show deserved better, but the network's full support is the best they can hope for now.

According to Taylor Sheridan himself, closing one Yellowstone chapter does not mean an ending for the whole universe. His plans are just as ambitious as they ever were, so stay tuned for more news and behind-the-scenes updates on Yellowstone and all its spinoffs!
