Sydney Sweeney’s new horror Immaculate has been all over the internet in recent days — despite conflicting reviews with one calling it the best horror movie that has ever existed and others lamenting that even the famous actress in the leading role doesn’t save the seemingly good movie.

Though the devil works hard, the film’s PR team works even harder as they’ve come up with quite a peculiar marketing approach.

As a brand new video posted on TikTok shows, Sydney Sweeney brought her latest film not only to the cinemas, but also to a Protestant church — this way the actress wanted to get Pastors Sarah and Alison’s authoritative opinion about her performance as a nun.

Seems like the marketing trick worked wonders — and Immaculate got the most incredible reviews that it could ever get from anyone else.

At first the video captures Pastor Alison being doubtful about all the violence that’s happening in the movie — and then, confirming her disbeliefs, she says she has “never seen a nun break another nun’s leg like that before” adding that no one in the church has ever been like this.

Then the camera switches to Pastor Sarah — who’s visibly terrified by the scene where someone is about to cut a character’s tongue off — that says emotionally “They're not going to do that. Oh, god, they’re doing it! No! They did it?”.

And then only Pastor Alison’s answer follows — “They’re doing it!... Done”.

The video concludes with the Pastors’ unanimous brief review coming to just one line — “That was just too much… this movie has officially gone too far”.

Given that before this answer Sydney Sweeney wondered whether she was banned from the church, she may have some reasons to fear so.
