All is well that ends well, and that is the best ending possible.

Depending on what you are filming as an actor, you may feel differently about being on set. While sitcom stars have many moments to bond over, actors in procedural dramas, especially in those that revolve around horrific crimes, find it harder to do the same.

It's obvious that the cast members need to be at least somewhat close and friendly in real life to show team unity on screen, but audiences don't expect them all to be best friends.

In fact, the sets of shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which deal with a number of sensitive issues on a daily basis, are always imagined to be more reserved and professional than others. While that's partly true, as it takes extra concentration and tact for the actors to do justice to the heartfelt scenes they're doing, there's still an element of fun in it.

In fact, Mariska Hargitay would be the first to tell you that the atmosphere on set can't stop two people from connecting when it's meant to happen. The actress, who portrays Olivia Benson on the show, has been lucky enough to not only make new friends through the SVU journey, but also find true love among her co-workers.

Hargitay first met Peter Hermann in 2001 when he was cast in the recurring role of Trevor Langan. As she admitted in an interview with People, she knew Hermann was the one for her from their first church date.

“We went to church together, and it was like getting hit with a lightning bolt. I just started sobbing. Peter thought I was crying because I was so moved by the service. No, it was because I was just overwhelmed, realizing he was the one,” the actress recalled.

From their first date, the two actors knew they were right for each other, so they tied the knot in 2004 and are still married 19 years later. If that's not proof that your person could appear in the darkest and most sinister scenario, we don't know what is.
