Surprising Star Cameo In Friends Nobody Is Talking About
Missing that was impossible.
Summary:
- Friends is a sitcom with many guest stars.
- One of the most iconic guest stars was Chris Isaak.
- He played the role of one of Phoebe's boyfriends.
Friends is one of the most popular sitcoms ever created, and every viewer chooses the show over and over again for its own reasons. Some of us can’t live with the iconic Ross and Rachel storyline, some of us live for Chandler’s jokes, and some of us are in love with the show thanks to Monica.
The main cast of the show, which includes Rachel, Monica, Joey, Chandler, Ross, and Phoebe, is phenomenal. They are all funny, have interesting storylines, and always find a way to impress us.
However, the supporting cast of the show is also magnificent. Can you imagine Friends without Gunther? We know we can’t. But what also makes the show unique it’s the amount of guest appearances in the show from legendary stars.
It was easy to spot the famous actors because, well, we know how they look, but there were even more people who needed our attention. Many of you may remember Rob Donnen the librarian, who appeared in season 2 episode 12 titled The One After The Superbowl, Part 1.
The person who played his part was none other than the amazing Chris Isaak, author of one of the most romantic love songs ever created. Yes, we are talking about Wicked Game, the song of Ross and Rachel's first day at the planetarium.
His character was cute and funny, he offered Phoebe to play in the children's library and later they sang together and she laughed at his voice. They started a brief relationship, but unfortunately it didn't last long.
It’s funny though that Isaak was also in the show in some other ways. Not only we heard his songs, but also the most eagle-eyed viewers noticed his promotion ad on the Central Perk’s window.
It’s not the first time though that the famous musician appeared in movies and shows. For example, in Melrose Place he played himself, he had his own show titled The Chris Isaak Show, and he also appeared in The Silence Of the Lambs.
