Superman & Lois Just Dropped a Bombshell That Can Change Everything
This is a discovery that could have fatal consequences.
Keeping secrets is what the Kent family is good at. However, they had to reveal Clark's secret to several people – Lois told the truth about Clark to Chrissy at the Smallville Gazette in order to protect Superman, and Clark himself had to come clean to Lana.
The tenth episode was a shock to viewers with the revelation of the secret to someone who would have been better off in the dark.
Now Kyle Cushing knows too, and that could change absolutely everything in Smallville. Still doubting that Jon is a metahuman, Kyle arrives at the Kent house and is met by Clark.
Unfortunately, Superman hears the sound of screaming as Onomatopoeia tries to break out of prison, but Kyle won't let him go because he needs answers.
This forces Clark to show Cushing his powers. He flies away, leaving Kyle standing in shock, realizing what he just saw.
Kyle doesn't look like the most reliable person to be keeping such a secret, to say the least. His condition has been unstable lately, and so far it looks like Superman's secret is in danger like never before.
He will be even more pissed off that Lana knew about everything, and the fact that they are literally on the verge of divorce will only add to the heat.
In addition, Kyle will do everything to protect Sarah, and communicating with Superboy is clearly not part of his idea of safety.
So far, it looks like Kyle will either tell everyone about Superman himself or force Clark to reveal the truth, putting the town in even more danger.
On the one hand, Clark would have more support from the people of Smallville, but on the other hand, anyone who finds out could become an easy target for villains like Lex Luthor.
Kyle really cares about his home, and his desire to make things better, as he thinks they should be, can only make things worse.
Hopefully the Kent family and Lana can talk some sense into him before it's too late. We will see how this storyline develops very soon – episode 11 of Superman & Lois will be released on June 6th.
