What’s up with the sudden surge in this brilliant show’s popularity? Suits is continuously setting new streaming records across two whole platforms now!

Suits was airing for eight whole years, and the show’s popularity was barely ever declining from 2011 until the finale in 2019. The tense and amusing cases, witty and charming characters, heartwarming and heartbreaking relationships, and many more things kept millions of people around the world glued to their screens for new episodes.

However, it’s been four years since the show ended, and for all it’s worth, Suits had a great and admittedly non-controversial run. Why is it that the series is suddenly all over the online news? What’s going on with Suits now, all the way in 2023?

Believe it or not, this series refuses to be forgotten — in fact, Suits is trending so much that it’s still setting streaming records to this day. As bizarre as it sounds, the show is gathering more views today than it did when it was airing, and while the reasons are mysterious, the facts are obvious: Suits is back in fashion all of a sudden.

In the week of June 26 through July 2, Suits set a streaming record across Netflix and Peacock: the show was viewed for over 3.1 billion minutes total. But that wasn’t the end — just one week later, from July 3 to July 9, Suits was viewed for 3.7 billion minutes, breaking its own record literally the following week!

The show’s been sitting at the top of the streaming charts for three weeks at that point, and it doesn’t seem to give up its position anytime soon. In fact, the recent records boosted Suits up to the 13th spot in the all-time most-viewed shows ever!

Once again, it’s impossible to guess just why this surge in Suits popularity is happening. Perhaps, people are feeling nostalgic for the simpler decade when the show was aired; perhaps, the entire world just suddenly remembered how brilliant Suits was. Either way, we’re glad to see that Harvey Specter still gets things done, even four years later!
