Succession Has No Mercy For This Character (Yes, It's a Roy Sibling)
Did someone really think that being raised by Logan Roy can do any good to mental health?
Succession fans have had plenty of time over three seasons to understand one thing: no one on the show is mentally stable.
In fact, some would argue that this is what makes the show so much fun to watch: chaotic fights between people with corrupt morals within a very dysfunctional family.
Some are unlucky enough to identify with the characters, others are simply entertained by it. But once the chaos starts, the painful consequences of conflict aren't always easy to watch.
"The good thing about having a family that doesn't love you is you learn to live without it. If Willa doesn't come back, it's fine. Because I don't need love. It's like a superpower," This line said by Connor Roy has made fans' hearts break for his upbringing and wonder if he suffered the most out of all his siblings.
Being the eldest son is not easy, as you usually get a lot more responsibilities and have to set an example for all the younger kids.
It looks like Connor has suffered a lot to become the man he is today: someone who can literally buy another person to plan his games.
Although this kind of behavior cannot be justified, fans truly believe that Connor Roy can still have his redemption arc.
"Seriously, Connor could do so much better. A little therapy would go a long way with him and he'd be just fine. Maybe even find someone that actually loves him back," Twitter user Durden112 said, suggesting just a perfect solution for his character.
But Succession wouldn't be Succession if every issue were handled so responsibly.
So viewers are still more likely to see chaos than calm therapy sessions as the show's final season brings new episodes.
