You'll need more popcorn than usual for this 90-minute-long episode.

With the amount of praise Succession has gotten over the years, it's only fitting that the show has a grand finale to remember.

Whatever happens in the final episode, it should be big, it should be meaningful, and it should be just as chaotic as the rest of the show.

Fortunately, the fans have no reason to doubt the writers, so they believe they will get all of the above and more.

However, a nice surprise just helped to ease the pain of the show's end.

In the latest interview for Variety, composer Nicholas Britell teased viewers that they can expect even more drama than usual for the final episode, as the episode itself will be much longer than usual.

"It's 90 minutes… It's a huge episode — like a movie," he shared.

It's not surprising that HBO would allow its best shows to end their stories on a high note, with enough time to tie up all the loose ends.

Though TVLine has confirmed with the network that the final episode of Succession will air a little under 90 minutes, that's still more than enough time to give viewers and characters a proper closure.

Game of Thrones had the same opportunity at the end of its run.

Though the finale was ruined long before the episode premiered, fans believe it was a nice gesture, even if it was not helpful at the time.

Fortunately, Succession does not suffer from any of the problems that GoT had before. As an original show, it has more freedom and the ability to leave when its time is up.

If you want to catch up on the latest Succession episodes before the big finale on May 28, stream the earliest episodes on MAX.

Or tune in to HBO every Sunday to catch the intriguing buildup leading up to it.
