How many Roys will have to go before the season finale?

As the Succession production team prepared for the final season to air on HBO, fans tore down all the promotional materials to find some clues as to what was coming next.

As it turns out, they were not entirely wrong: many fans noticed the plane on the show's main poster and paid a lot of attention to it, thinking that something big was about to happen on the jet.

Well, after episode 3 of season 4 proved them right, viewers are once again looking for clues to find out more.

Logan Roy's death wasn't entirely unexpected. The title of the series hinted at it from the beginning, and with season 4 being the final one, fans were prepared to see Roy Sr. go for good.

However, no one was prepared for this death to come so suddenly and so closely tied to another major family event.

With Logan out of the picture for the rest of the season, viewers are worried about what they're going to do with the rest of the season.

Kendall's fans are the most worried of all, as the next clue found on the poster is related to him. In the reflection directly below his figure, the silhouette of the Empire State Building can be seen.

And while one part of the audience sees this as a positive sign, the other part fears that their favorite might not be able to cope with his mental problems and might end up taking his own life by jumping off the building.

It's better to focus on the earlier suggestion and think positively, and manifest that energy to the writers of Succession.

Of course, no amount of time spent trying to decipher these clues will prepare you for the worst, especially when it comes to such a gruesome subject.

As impossible as this theory may have sounded before, after the latest episode you can't deny that anything can happen on Succession this season.

If you want to see the story unfold for yourself, catch up with season 4 of Succession on HBO Max, or tune in to HBO every Sunday to make sure you never miss a thing.
