Will Anyone Die In Stranger Things Season 5?

Looking back at the cases of such great shows as Lost and Game of Thrones, some people still believe that unnecessary deaths added to the show just for shock value are much worse than an underwhelming but happy ending.

Besides, characters who have already been through hell for 4 seasons don't deserve to meet their demise when they reach their final destination. It would not only be a sign of disrespect to the characters, but also to the viewers who have been rooting for them from the beginning.

However, if there's one character who's in more danger than the rest, it's Nancy, since she's already been chosen by Vecna to be in her mind once. That doesn't mean she's going to die, but fans feel there's more to explore about her in the final season.

Another character under attack would have been Eleven, of course. While the fandom generally agrees that she deserves to live on as a character after what she's been through, depending on how the writers decide to get rid of Vecna, she may end up sacrificing herself in an act of selflessness.
