Stan Lee was undoubtedly the cameo king.

Stan Lee, the legendary creator of Marvel superheroes, not only made cameos in almost every Marvel movie, but he also made appearances in various non-Marvel films and TV shows.

Let’s remember some of the best of them.

The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory fans will surely remember this cameo. In TBBT’s season 3, episode 16, Penny brings Sheldon to Stan Lee's house without an invitation, which angers Stan.

Stan Lee drops a sarcastic line to Sheldon, telling him to catch a Lakers game. But Sheldon, being Sheldon, takes it seriously and ends up barging into Stan's house uninvited. It gets so out of hand that poor Stan has no choice but to dial 911 and get a restraining order against Sheldon.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot

In the 2019 movie Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Stan Lee makes a cameo in this cool mid-credits scene. They use some old footage of Stan Lee and Kevin Smith, and Smith is talking about the reboot movie while having this spontaneous interaction with Lee.

This heartfelt footage brought a pang of sadness, as it was one of Stan Lee's posthumous appearances.

Madness in the Method

Another film featuring Stan Lee's posthumous cameo was the 2019 movie Madness in the Method.

Stan appeared about halfway through the film, engaging in a conversation with a cop regarding a murder near his property. Humorously, he also took the opportunity to insult Jason, the protagonist.

The Ambulance

In the 1990 film The Ambulance, Stan Lee had a notable cameo, portraying himself as the boss of the main character, John Baker, played by Eric Roberts. The viewers had the pleasure of seeing Stan on the screen for a good minute and a half.

Entourage

Even the hit HBO series Entourage had its fair share of celebrity cameos. The legendary Stan Lee also made an appearance.

In the 2010 episode Bottom's Up, Stan played himself when Vince brought his girlfriend Sasha Grey, a porn star, to a meeting with the legendary comic book creator. Where else would you see Sasha Grey and Stan Lee in the same scene?
