The girl didn't seem to like the final season.

You might have a hard time looking for a Game of Thrones fan who genuinely enjoyed the final season of the iconic show. Back at the time, the Game of Thrones finale was an explosive topic, but definitely not in the way the showrunners would have wanted it.

If you too believed that Game of Thrones deserved so much better, then you've got an ally in Maisie Williams, who portrayed Arya Stark in the show.

Speaking with her brother James Williams during a Twitch livestream, the Game of Thrones star noted that her show "definitely fell of at the end" even though it "started strong".

"I could never like say that and understand it, y'know? And it feels good to be proud of it, that was ten years of my life," Williams went on, explaining that she has recently rewatched the show. "It definitely fell off at the end, but it started really strong."

Game of Thrones fans appeared to be "glad" that "even the cast knows how bad it was." However, other joked that it is merely about Williams trying to "stay relevant" — after all, she did choose the timing to slam the Game of Thrones ending right after its prequel, House of the Dragon, concluded its first season.

So, Are Rhaenyra and Alicent Canon Now? It's Complicated

Many fans have been calling to reshoot the finale of Game of Thrones — something that currently is unlikely to happen. The House of the Dragon finale, however, appeared to be a lot more pleasing for fans, even though some people claimed it could have been an even bigger bang. However, unlike Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon is set to continue.

The premiere date for season 2 is yet to be announced by HBO.
