What do you expect from the upcoming season of the Squid Game series? Unorthodox twists and turns? Sudden change of pace? New faces and, of course, many more unconventional ways to die?

One of the Squid Game actors has come up with a very special idea.

"After we filmed Squid Game Season 1, we all got together brainstorming ideas for how to bring everybody back alive. My idea is the masked men carry all of them out as quickly as possible and do a surgery on them to keep them alive," Jung-jae, who played Seong Gi-hun in the smash hit Netflix 's show, told Variety.

Of all of the ideas for Squide Game Season 2 this one might as well be the worst. All of the characters died in a most brutal way in Season 1, so the question is how it is possible to bring them back to life and pretend everything's fine. Should it ever happen in Season 2, no one will ever believe it, and the writes are guaranteed to be accused of lazy, bad fanfic-level, writing.

While it's been confirmed that Season 2 of Squid Game is in the making, there've been no news about the progress made. The official twitter account of the show has been silent since the end of September.

The only detail that's been officially confirmed is that Ge-hun and The Front Man will make their comeback in Season 2. We also know that the man in the suit with ddakji might be back and that Cheol-su, Young-hee's boyfriend, will be introduced to the audience. So far so good.

This summer Jung-jae told PEOPLE about the script for Season 2.

"I actually wanted to ask director [Hwang Dong-hyuk] about it too," the gambler actor said. "But you know, when there's this present that you want... you're waiting for that [and] you're so excited to get it, you don't want to have it little by little," revealed Jung-jae, saying that it would be great to get the whole script from director Hwang.

The actor did not spill any beans about what direction the second season will go saying that the filmmaker has a lot to think and write about.

"[It] looks like he has a lot of different ideas," he explains. "But writing a [script] is something that you don't know when it's going to [be finished]," he said, adding that it looked like director Hwang was really struggling with the script.

Hwang Dong-hyuk certainly has great ideas, but redditors have a lot of ideas too. In one of the threads they discuss which other games could feature in Season 2 of the show.

One of the fans says that there's nothing better than a good old-fashion game of running a race. The only difference is that as soon as the winner crosses the finish line… the floor drops out from under everyone else.

Another game idea is Squid's Got Talent where the judges would decide who will make it to the next round and who won't – apparently killing off those who showed poor performance (America's Got Talent team, please ignore this).

Hide & Seek in a big city is also among the games suggested by redditors – once giant robots sense movements they will just shoot and kill anyone within their shooting range.

Season 2 of Netflix's Squid Game is scheduled to be released in 2024.
