Spidey Sense Gone Wrong: 5 Dumbest Decisions by Peter Parker, Ranked
Teenagers tend to make more mistakes than adults, but is it excusable when you are Spider-Man?
As one of our most beloved superheroes, Spider-Man, also known as Peter Parker, has made some questionable decisions over the course of his superhero history.
From the 2002 movie to the most recent installment starring Tom Holland, the decisions made by the teenage boy have often left fans scratching their heads.
Ranked from bad to worst, here are the 5 weirdest decisions Peter Parker has ever made.
5. Going to Oxford with Gwen (The Amazing Spider-Man 2)
It's all cute and fun until you realize that this is not real life and Peter Parker is no ordinary teenager. When Gwen Stacey tells Peter about leaving New York and going to Oxford, Peter decides to go with her without a second thought.
In terms of boyfriend material, he nailed the situation perfectly, but in terms of the city protector...With the growing number of Spidey villains, his potential departure from New York could mean the city's demise.
4. Writing His Name On the Camera (The Amazing Spider-Man)
A camera may be an expensive purchase, but is it worth your life?
Peter's attempt to take a picture of The Lizard with his camera is a disaster after he loses it, and the camera ends up in The Lizard's hands, with the whole "Property of Peter Parker" label in plain sight.
This reveals his secret identity as Spider-Man, leading to a deadly confrontation between the superhero and his nemesis.
3. Giving Mysterio E.D.I.T.H. Glasses (Spider-Man: Far From Home)
Following Tony Stark's death in Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker inherits his signature sunglasses, equipped with a technology called E.D.I.T.H. "Even Dead I'm The Hero" glasses give the owner access to Stark Industries' global satellite network, along with security, defense and tactical intelligence features.
Not only did Peter kiss goodbye to what was left of Iron Man, but he also gave one of the most powerful devices to an unknown pseudo-hero.
2. Letting Uncle Ben's Killer Go (Spider-Man)
The "with great power must come great responsibility" lesson that Peter Parker had to learn, even through a situation as harsh as Uncle Ben's death.
After an encounter with mugger Dennis Carradine, Peter lets him go, only to face the consequences of his reckless actions when the same man causes the tragic loss of Spider-Man's father figure.
1. Interrupting Doctor Strange 's Spell (Spider-Man: No Way Home)
Who the hell interrupts the magician in the middle of a life-or-death spell? Well, Peter Parker does. After his identity was revealed in the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, he comes to Doctor Strange for help.
However, during the spell-casting process, Peter's interference inadvertently triggers a multiversal crisis. As a result, supervillains from other dimensions arrive in his reality and the chaos begins.
We love Spider-Man's chatty nature, but he should do some work on his timing in the future.
