Taylor Sheridan threw quite a few huge plot twists into the mix of his brand-new series with Episode 4, but medical expert claims he messed up.

Taylor Sheridan 's new TV show, Special Ops: Lioness, is full of tension and drama, but while the first three episodes almost avoided huge shockers, Episode 4 delivered quite a few big plot twists.

Particularly, we're talking about the incident with Joe and Neil's daughter, Kate. When the 14-year-old girl was driving around with her friends, they got into a terrible car crash thanks to the driver who got distracted. The teens were immediately taken to the hospital as they suffered severe injuries, and one of them even died.

Fortunately, Kate's injuries turned out to not be life-threatening, and despite her immense pain, she wasn't going to die because of them. However, as the girl's blood got tested, the results uncovered another terrible bit of news: she was pregnant. This came as a dreadful surprise to both Kate and her father Neil, who'd already arrived at the hospital.

Admittedly, there was no way for the baby to live. Even if it somehow kept struggling after the car crash and survived Kate's injuries, it would still be terminated by the anesthesia that was required for the girl's surgery. Either way, it was doomed before anyone even learned about its existence.

This tragic plot twist is set to change quite a few things in this family's story arc, and Joe and Neil already agreed that they were wrong to prioritize their careers over family. They'll definitely try their best to be there for Kate now, and that was arguably the point of this terrible car crash and terminated pregnancy incident, but...

While heartbreaking, this plot twist needed a reality check, and one of the show's fans over at the Reddit community provided it.

"As if a near-death car wreck isn't bad enough, Sheridan has to throw in there a 14-year-old pregnancy... As an ER physician for over 20 years, in no world would an Orthopedic surgeon ever know the dosing of an abortion pill," wrote Reddit user tennispro2589.

So realistically, Taylor Sheridan messed up in terms of the medical side of this situation. It was still a devastating blow, but apart from being inaccurate, it's also conspired too much by Special Ops: Lioness fans, too.
