Grey's Anatomy fans believing Arizona comeback rumors are set to be disappointed.

Grey's Anatomy is notorious on the Internet for killing off characters from the show and leaving fans with no hope of seeing them again.

This has happened too many times, but it has an obvious appeal, as the characters who live out the series peacefully become the ones most desired by the audience to make a comeback.

One such character is of course Arizona Robbins, portrayed by Jessica Capshaw, who's been a part of Grey's Anatomy for 9 years, from season 5 to season 14.

Her strong, yet kind and caring character quickly became adored by many fans. In addition to writing Arizona as a genuinely likable person, the writers have done a great job of showing her vulnerable side and addressing some important issues through the lens of her character.

From a leg amputation to a miscarriage, a failing marriage and a custody battle over her daughter, Arizona went through a lot and fans were not ready to see her go.

A rumor about Arizona Robbins' possible comeback was sparked on Reddit by a leaked photo from season 19.

In a blonde woman standing to the side of the camera, fans noticed the slightest resemblance to Arizona and let their wishful thinking get the better of them. However, further discussion revealed the truth.

Finally, in Reddit's best spirits, fans found out that the image in question was posted on an Instagram account of the actress Katie Walder, who's known to the public for her role as Janet on Gilmore Girls.

The actress is set to appear on one of the episodes of season 19 as a guest star. The discovery puts an end to the discussion… for now.

As unfortunate as it is for Arizona fans out there, her story on Grey's Anatomy really did come to a proper end, and there are no signs of a comeback.

However, you can still enjoy the show and follow the stories of other characters, so tune in on Thursdays on ABC.
