Sex and the City’s Samantha Jones sure knows how to pick her men – Smith Jerrod, played by Jason Lewis, is everyone’s dream guy.

Jason Lewis landed the iconic role of Smith Jerrod on Sex and the City in 2003 and became an integral part of the franchise for years to come. The actor first graced our screens in season 6, but he was brought back for both movies. He has yet to make an appearance in the revival show, And Just Like That…, but we are not giving up hope just yet.

While Lewis’ legendary role in Sex and the City is still his most prominent one to date, he has stayed pretty busy. In 2010, he famously played the movie version of Tony (the guy who Stella left Ted for) in How I Met Your Mother.

Jason was also a regular on 2017’s Midnight, Texas, a supernatural drama show that aired on NBC, but unfortunately, the series was canceled after two seasons. The actor has appeared in several movies as well, though mostly in small roles, including 2017’s Running Wild and 2018’s Half Magic.

In 2022, Lewis took part in Dancing with the Stars, but he and his partner Peta Murgatroyd were voted out of the competition during week 1. It’s a shame, they do look great together.

The Sex and the City’s main hottie, who is 51 years old now, still got it, by the way! However, he has been off the dating market for nearly three years – in 2020, Lewis got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, producer Liz Godwin.

We have recently received an official confirmation that Kim Cattrall will be making a cameo appearance in And Just Like That’s season 2. Could she possibly be joined by none other than her ex-boyfriend Smith? Maybe they even got back together…

We are still not over their breakup in the first movie. If the writers of the revival decided to have them find their way back to each other, that would be the first thing that they would do right in this disaster of a sequel. Here’s hoping!
