Asking for 'Star Wars' fans.

Disney 's 'Obi-Wan Kenobi ' has already weathered a lot of criticism, as well as high praise for bringing beloved characters back and actually doing it gracefully enough. According to some fans, the show's advantages are combined with less impressive moments like seemingly low-budget scenes and lack of good writing in certain parts of the story.

So there is a belief that 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' should have been a movie, not a TV series.

This story deserves to be one of the biggest things Star Wars has ever done and it doesn’t feel that way, – @therealsupes.

Even though a TV show can essentially provide more time for character and plot development, many people share the sentiment. Perhaps, the story of the Jedi Master should have indeed been turned into a movie, as many fans argue that the series lost them after a couple of episodes due to its dull pace.

However, Star Wars fans have already had an unpleasant experience of a one-character-centered movie flopping in theaters.

Well then people should have supported Solo a Star Wars Story then, – @TopHatMcguliver.

Maybe the lack of support for 'Solo' was why Disney chose to pour money into TV series instead of feature-length films.

Other people were quick to remember that 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' consisted of just six episodes, each of them around an hour long. So if you think about it, the Jedi Master story was somewhat turned into a movie, just a rather stretched one.

I think it actually is. Once this is finished airing, rewatch all the episodes. Feels like 1 long movie broken up. Probably intentionally since the episodes are only Parts and not titles. This episode felt like act 1 of a 3 act movie. I really enjoyed it. Don't see the issue here. – @stephenwrty.

Whatever team you're on, movies tend to finish a couple of hours after the story started. In case of 'Obi-Wan Kenobi', the show is still ongoing, with two more episodes to arrive on Disney Plus until the end of June. So at least we have some time to enjoy the story of the Jedi Master for a bit longer.
