'She-Hulk' Twerk Scene Is Not Something You Should Be Angry About

The third episode of 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' – or, more precisely, its post-credit scene – has sparked ire in the Marvel fandom. In it, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany ) is joined by American rapper Megan Thee Stallion for some twerking, because who doesn't do that in between handling superhuman legal issues?

A large part of the fandom decried the post-credit scene for turning She-Hulk into a joke and being generally unsettling and unnecessary. However, this is definitely not the first time when Marvel superheroes behave weird and goofy on screen – but it's She-Hulk who gets hate for this.

Fans quickly remembered Iron Man literally pissing himself while drunk and in his suit (thankfully, we didn't get to see the details of the iconic scene). They also brought up the notorious Star Lord dance in 'Guardians of the Galaxy', which was also quite bizarre to witness. However, neither Iron Man nor Star Lord received backlash over the weird scenes – maybe, some fans suggested, simply because they are male characters.

Even Baron Zemo who did a weird dance in 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' was celebrated as a fun goofy addition to the generally dark and serious show.

Some people fired back at those who claimed that Stan Lee – the creator of the majority of Marvel characters – wouldn't love the twerking scene.

After all, Marvel superheroes are notoriously good at combining humor and world-saving endeavors – even though it sometimes goes over the top, as was the case with 'Thor: Love and Thunder ', with many fans blasting the movie for turning literally everything into a joke.

'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law', meanwhile, remains a comedy, so the twerking scene does not really fall out of line with the series' tone.
