So you guys remember the fun times of Sokovia Accords?

'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' is going to be all about comedy and legal battles – something you would unlikely expect in the MCU. However, there is one legal issue that has long remained unaddressed in the cinematic universe – and that's Sokovia Accords, a deal that envisaged government control over superheroes.

It was a hot topic back at the times of 'Captain America: Civil War ', when Earth's mightiest heroes clashed with one another, unable to determine whether they were okay with the idea of the government being involved in their matters. However, then came a massive threat of extinction brought by Thanos, and the issue appeared to have been brushed under the rug. Even though Thunderbolt Ross told Steve Rogers back in 'Infinity War ' that he and his allies were still under arrest, this was effectively the last time the Sokovia Accords were even mentioned in the MCU.

Not anymore. According to 'She-Hulk' creator and writer Jessica Gore who told The Direct that her show is going to finally bring the matter back into the spotlight.

"This show will answer the question of whatever happened to the Sokovia Accords. It'll happen later in the season, but you will get an answer to what actually happened to the Accords," Gao told the outlet.

There is an idea, however, that the Sokovia Accords do not seem to be of any relevance anymore: not only has the MCU changed dramatically since after the Blip but also Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany ) herself appears to be perfectly fine with her new role as She-Hulk. If the Accords were still a thing, she might have been forced to represent herself in court at some point. However, we are still to know more about that when the show premieres.

'She-Hulk' hits Disney Plus in a couple of days, on August 17. Aside from addressing the Sokovia Accords, the show is also going to bring back a couple of familiar Marvel characters as well as introduce a handful of new ones. And, surely enough, the issue of Sokovia Accords will hardly be the only problem that Jennifer Walters will have to face.
