Chicago Fire continues to surprise fans with unexpected plot twists. One of the most recent was the departure of one of the show's main characters, Kelly Severide.
While it is still not clear why this happened, the show must go on. And the same goes for his wife Stella Kidd. These two have been a fan-favorite couple since their first appearance in season 4.
They have overcome countless roadblocks during their relationship, but their love has always prevailed and they managed to get married at the end of season 10.
Sadly, the actor who portrays Severide, Taylor Kinney, decided to depart from the series during season 11.
Well, even if they are still married and have feelings for each other, their future together in the show is now under a big question.
So the writers of the show might be preparing Stella to find a new love interest, although it might take some time for that to happen. But there are already some speculations about who the guy might be.
It seems that the friendship between Stella and Carver could blossom into something more romantic in the next season or even at the end of this one. So the potential for a new romance is right in front of us.
In episode 20 there was a scene where Carver helped Stella deal with a dangerous man who was really obsessed with her.
And that even landed him in jail. So what if not that can be the beginning of something new?
