Scenes from The Office That Fans Just Can't Get Enough Of
As one of the most watched shows on TV, it's no surprise that The Office was packed full of so many unforgettable scenes.
From awkward pauses, through moments of absolute hilarity, and, of course, a few tear jerkers too, the series had it all.
These are just some of the scenes that fans are still watching over and again.
Andy Bernard Sings I Will Remember You
As unpopular as he was due to being obnoxious and having severe anger management issues, Andy decided that his parting gesture to Dunder Mifflin should be to sing farewell to his colleagues. And why not? He was off to be a performer.
When he started strumming his guitar, the reactions of Jim and Angela made it quite clear what they expected. But by the end of the impromptu performance, the office is full and there are even a few people close to tears. A real feel-good moment.
The Dinner Party
The tension between Michael and Jan is clear from the outset. And as the dinner party goes on, things bubble up into a full in row.
But not before Angela has beef with Andy, we're introduced to Dwight's babysitter-come-sexual partner (who Jim is just aching to get in touch with away from the party) and Pam worries about whether the food will kill her. Pure hilarity.
See You Tomorrow For Lunch
When Jim comes into Michael's office to say goodbye, both are a bit teary-eyed and find it hard to actually tell each what they think of them.
So, in a touching moment, they agree to talk about it at lunch tomorrow. You just know this is a phrase that has been recycled countless times at offices around the world since this episode aired.
Whoever or Whomever?
Everything about this scene is pure genius. We've all been there when one of these debates breaks out so the whole thing is so relatable.
And the entire exchange was so well scripted and performed that each time you watch it you get something else from it. And "Ryan used me as an object" will never not be funny.
Jim Finally Asks Out Pam
By far the most rewatchable scene from the entire show. This is the denouement of a story that has been building up for years.
It's another scene that is not exactly wall-to-wall comedy, but nonetheless delivers just what the audience for this sitcom wanted.
It's the moment that Jim gives it all up for love; a love we've seen blossom over several seasons. And we've all been wanting this moment.
