In the world of sitcoms, few romances are as iconic as Ross and Rachel's storyline in Friends.

Their antics have become something of a cultural icon, with the likes of "We were on a break" and "the Friendzone" becoming bona fide memes. In addition, their relationship has had a lasting impact on the real world.

However, the characters played by David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston had their lives changed too. In the season finale of Season 7, it is revealed that Rachel is pregnant with Ross's child after they hooked up. By the next season, baby Emma Geller-Greene is born, and she's the cutest ever.

However, that was in 2002. It has been over 20 years since that little baby was introduced to us on the silver screen. While many people are familiar with the later careers of the cast of Friends, most are unaware of what happened to the actress (or actresses) who played Emma.

It would surprise many of you to know that Emma was played by two identical twins, Cali and Noelle Sheldon. At the end of 2019, Noelle Sheldon recently reacted to a clip from Friends that went viral. In season 20, episode 1, Chandler and Monica record a video for Emma. They're making it for her when she turns 18 and says, "Hi, Emma. It's the year 2020. Are you still enjoying your nap?"

Noelle shared a picture of herself on Instagram, holding an iconic Central Perk coffee mug, and wrote, "Just woke up from the best nap of all time, happy 2020!!..." Fans of the show were taken aback at how long that episode was. Time sure does fly when you're watching Friends.

Although Friends ended back in 2004, the main cast did reunite for a special unscripted episode for HBO Max. They reignited the charm that fans missed for almost two decades. However, the Sheldon sisters weren't sitting idle either. They've started their professional careers as actresses, writers, and directors.

In 2019, they were cast in US, Jordan Peele's horror flick. They had more than a few moments when they basically stole the show. Are we witnessing the next generation of Hollywood A-listers? We hope so. While this has been one of the more notable roles they took, they have done a lot more as well.

They have appeared and have been credited on Life, a TV series, and multiple shorts like Winner, Agorable, Maxwell, and Rougarou. The pair are now attending college at UCLA and aim to continue acting. Moreover, Cali has also expressed interest in becoming a biomedical engineer. We wish the best to the Sheldon sisters and await their return on our screens.
