Roseanne Barr Has Some Scathing Words for The Conners
Roseanne Barr, the iconic comedian and actress, has recently made headlines with her scathing comments about the ABC sitcom, The Conners, which is a spin-off of Roseanne.
Barr, who created and starred in the original series, has been vocal about her disappointment with the show since her departure. And in a recent interview, she didn't hold back in expressing her frustration with the current state of the show.

The comedian has mostly been keeping a low profile since the incident. However, in a recent Los Angeles Times interview, Barr revealed her true feelings about the spin-off, and let's just say she's not exactly happy.
In fact, Barr stated she couldn't believe the actions of the people she worked with on the series, given the amount of effort she spent on reviving the show.
She then went on to express her profound disappointment with the decision to kill off her character in the show, stating that "they s— on her contribution to television and the show itself."
The actress further disclosed that she avoids watching the show because she simply can't bring herself to do it.
She also believes that the character's death was intended as a message to her to attempt to push her towards suicide, considering her history of mental health issues.
"And all of that was to say thank you for bringing 28 million viewers, which they never had before and will never see again. Because they can kiss my a--," she conveyed her frustration.
But despite everything that went down, Barr has no plans of hiding any longer.
It turns out the comedian is making a comeback with a new stand-up comedy special on Fox Nation, claiming that this is the most offensive that she has "ever had the balls to be" in her stand-up routine.
Barr's comments are certainly controversial, and it's understandable that some fans of The Conners, as well as the showrunners, might take offense.
However, whether or not we agree with her remarks, they add a new dimension to this tricky situation.
