The most unexpected movie the Twilight and Batman star could ever recommend.

Trash comedies occupy their own niche in cinema, and the phrase "so bad it's good" applies to most of them.

It turns out that even such a versatile actor like Robert Pattinson, who until recently preferred to act only in auteur films, has a weakness for such leisure activities as watching thrash comedies, and one of them is even included in his top five movies.

Corky Romano is a 2001 comedy movie directed by Rob Pritts starring Chris Kattan.

The movie has one of the lowest ratings on Rotten Tomatoes – only 7%, but this might be the main factor for fans of trash comedies to still see this clear masterpiece (because it certainly takes some effort to make a movie that gets such low ratings).

Robert admitted that he has watched this movie several times and thinks it is great:

"I love that film. Literally, that's one of the only films I've pissed my pants at. Like, I actually pissed my pants. […] I also love the behind-the-scenes stuff on the DVD where none of the crew are laughing; the director's […] telling Chris Kattan, "Just do something funny, just make Chris Penn laugh," and none of the crew think it's funny at all."

The movie tells a story about Francis Romano and his family who control prostitution, racketeering and illegal gambling in three states.

Polly, Francis' eldest son, is skilled with a knife, illiterate and suffers from an inferiority complex. Peter Romano is the youngest son and the physical backbone of the family.

Finally, the head of the family himself was caught and appeared in court, facing a life sentence.

At a family meeting, it was decided that Corky Romano, who had never been involved in the family's affairs and seemed to be a typical cheerful fool, who works as a veterinarian's assistant, should be involved in the case.

Francis says there must be at least one Romano gene in him and now a nice, sympathetic guy is drawn to the case. He has to break the law and infiltrate the FBI to steal all the evidence against his father.

Numerous negative reviews say that this is the worst comedy that should never have been made.

But isn't that what should motivate thrash comedy fans the most? After all, at least it's Robert Pattinson-approved.
