The girl can detect lies just by looking at the person she is talking to.

A few years later, Sol-hee runs a small agency and exposes criminals. And fate brings her together with a talented musician who is accused of a crime he did not commit. So far, only Mok believes him.

2. River Where the Moon Rises, 2021

The Goguryeo era, the warrior tribes are united under the rule of the king. But discontent is growing among the military leaders, leading to cruel intrigues. The commander-in-chief of the troops conspires with one of the concubines to rebel.

As a result, the young queen dies, and her 12-year-old daughter escapes and ends up under the protection of a man who takes the fugitive into his care. Eight years later, the princess works for a local military leader and dreams of escaping the world of war and murder. But there is one last task that will bring her either salvation or death.

This epic drama has it all: honor, betrayal, loyalty, love and revenge, as well as Kim So-hyun and Na In-woo in the lead roles.

3. Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, 2016-2017

Kim So-hyun plays the sister of an unjustly killed and cursed commander. A sword is stuck in his chest, preventing him from leaving this world, and only the Goblin's Bride, born in modern Korea, can pull it out.

The Bride turns out to be an orphan girl, who accidentally deceived the Grim Reaper who came for her. He has been searching for her for many years so that she can break the curse.

Guardian is one of the most famous projects in the history of Korean dramas. It is rightly considered an exemplary series among mystical dramas, referring to the mythological and cultural motifs of Korean folklore.

4. Page Turner, 2016

Yoon Yoo-seul's mother earned extra money by giving piano lessons, and Yoon attended all of her lessons. When the girl decided to play the piano herself, her mother realized that Yoon had talent. The girl enters the conservatory and everyone predicts a great career for her, but fate decides otherwise.

The girl gets into a car accident and loses her eyesight. Now, Yoon will have to adapt and show her talent from a different side.

This mini-series drama is about the importance of support. A page turner is a pianist's assistant, who turns the pages at the right moment. And now Yoon Yoo-seul has to find such a person not only for the stage, but also for everyday life.

5. Radio Romance, 2018

Song Geu-rim's everyday life is not much like a fairy tale – she is torn between taking care of her sick mother and working at a radio station.

Radio Romance is a drama with the participation of another superstar of Korean cinema – Yoon Doo-joon, who has shared a set with Kim So-hyun before.
