Rick and Morty The Anime: Release Date & Where to Watch
New adventures for this crazy duo are closer than you think.
August will bring us two anime adaptations of popular franchises: at the end of the month, Terminator Zero will drop on Netflix, and in the middle, new Rick and Morty: The Anime will be released on Adult Swim.
It's hard to say how the project differs from the old version, except for the simplified animation: the same archetypal characters, intergalactic adventures, and dirty jokes. Although there is one change – in the trailer, the awkward and insecure Morty kisses a girl!
Takashi Sano, is responsible for the anime, and you may know him for Tower of God – an anime based on a popular South Korean manhwa, which received a high score on Rotten Tomatoes – 92%.

The anime will be released on the same platform as the original series – Adult Swim.
Number of Episodes & Plot

Details about the plot of the anime have also been revealed. Rick will go on a galactic journey and get stuck in a pseudo-world. Morty will fall in love with a strange girl who turns out to be an atemporal being. Meanwhile, Summer will help Space Beth battle the villainous leaders of the Galactic Federation.
