It was the point of no return for the Black Queen.

Warning: the following article contains spoilers for House of the Dragon episode 10

The final episode of House of the Dragon's first season has left viewers with their jaws dropped as Aemond's Vhagar teared Lucerys' Arrax in half, and Rhaenyra got to know about it in the very end of the episode.

Her face promised nothing good. Over the course of the season, Rhaenyra was not much of a warmonger, preferring to offer some sort of a peace deal or even make concessions. This time, however, when her son has fallen victim to the Greens, she might turn truly evil — and some fans fear that House of the Dragon might yet again introduce the "Daenerys Targaryen" kind of madness for Rhaenyra.

"[T]hat look on Rhaenyra's face at the end there… that's the same face Daenerys made before she torched kings landing so that dumbass Alicent better watch her back," one Twitter fan noted.

However, many people think that whatever "war crimes" Rhaenyra decides to commit now, they will be "totally justified " because she had her reasons. According to fans, both Rhaenyra and Daenerys simply grew tired of being good and were wrongfully accused of going "mad" when they responded appropriately.

It's worth noting that both women initially struggled to get things done right peacefully.

Rhaenyra's now-famous line "I do not wish to rule over a kingdom of ash and bone" is perfectly in sync with Daenerys once proclaiming "I am not here to be queen of the ashes."

However, it's clear that Rhaenyra, just like Daenerys, will no longer resort to peaceful solutions. Dance of the Dragons is incoming, and the second season looks to be even more dramatic than the first one.

HBO is yet to announce the premiere date, but the second season has already been officially greenlit. The only thing fans seem to be fearing for is Rhaenyra's character development.

The One Thing House of the Dragon Lacks to Beat Game of Thrones

That, however, remains to be seen. After all, it is nothing short of the Targaryen civil war going on in House of the Dragon.
