Reddit Has The Perfect Idea For 'Werewolf By Night' Special
Disney+ special starring Gael Garcia Bernal is still not confirmed officially by Kevin Feige, but fans are already developing some really interesting theories about project's narrative.
According to some insiders, filming for 'Werewolf by Night ' has already been completed and is expected to premiere this Halloween. The film will be directed by acclaimed composer Michael Giacchino, and Bernal will play the titular anti-hero cursed with the ability to turn into a wolf every full moon. The character was introduced in the original Marvel comics back in the 1970s, but his supernatural origins prevented him from becoming a household name. Now that can be changed, and thanks to curious theories developed by the MCU fandom, he could make quite a splash in the upcoming Disney+ special.
In a recent discussion on Reddit, one fan noted that Moon Knight, who successfully got his own series starring Oscar Isaac earlier this year, originally appeared in the 'Werewolf by Night' comics, so he may well appear in the special as well.
"I would love to see Moon Knight/Jake Lockley as a villain in this, given his comic book debut has him portrayed as a super violent maniac hunting down WBN..." – /GuguMarcos.
And from a realistic point of view, the idea makes sense – perhaps Feige and Co. are deliberately keeping quiet about confirming the existence of the special so as not to spoil Isaac's participation in it.
Fans expect to learn more about this mysterious project this September at D23 expo.
