Reddit Came Up with Brilliant but Totally Insane Plan to Get Rid of Homelander
The Boys fans try to put themselves in Butcher's shoes and come up with an actual working plan to kill Homelander now that Soldier Boy is out of the equation.
The Boys season 3 finale aired four months ago, but fans are still hooked on Butcher's mission to destroy sociopathic and seemingly indestructible Homelander.
One discussion on r/TheBoys Subreddit covered the ways fans would go about killing Homelander if they were Butcher.
Among replies suggesting to kill Homelander by somehow taking away his powers, bullying him to suicide, nuking him, asphyxiating him, or cold-freezing him, there was one creative plan many commenters liked:
"Put Termite in a glass of breast milk mixed with cocaine. When he drinks, Termite sneezes."
This insane plan is clearly based on the scene at the Herogasm party where Termite who has Ant-Man-like powers crawls inside his lover's penis to give him pleasure but suddenly sneezes because of all the cocaine he's been doing.
The sneezing leads to him returning to his normal size and exploding his lover from the inside. That scene filmed in an actual 11-foot-high, 30-foot-long prosthetic penis shocked many viewers and was so memorable that making Termite sneeze inside Homelander became one of the best options to kill Homelander in the Subreddit discussion.
Though some commenters were not entirely convinced the plan would work considering how invulnerable Homelander is, others believed it was actually a viable plan. Yes, Termite would probably be crushed to death, but his remains could mess up Homelander's system.
"I imagine it would turn into Homelander doubled over in disgust and horror as chunky human stew began pouring out of every available opening. That's not a pretty picture," a commenter wrote.
Homelander might even choke on all the crushed guts if Butcher is lucky. If not, fans have another plan.
Start with letting Termite in Homelander's ear via a tube (we saw that the Supe's ears are somewhat vulnerable), after Termite gets access to Homelander's brain he explodes and scrambles the brain rendering Homelander a vegetable, deep-freeze Homelander's body till there's a way to destroy it.
Sounds bloodthirsty? Well, desperate times call for desperate measures. The only downside of this plan is that Termite has already died after Homelander "accidentally" stepped on him.
