Real Reason The Morning Show’s Power Couple Broke Up, Finally Revealed
The pandemic didn’t spare them.
When the first episode of The Morning Show season 3 aired, it was revealed that Bradley and Laura were supposedly no longer together. Well, we got that from the scene where Bradley woke up next to another woman. Pretty obvious conclusion, huh?
Many fans were disappointed to learn that their favorite couple might not make it to the finale. They were sure that Bradley and Laura were so good for one another and brought out the best in each other.
“Really liked their couple and the tension that Laura storyline brings to the show with her relationship with Bradley, her past with Alex and how she helped Bradley to grow. The relationship was really positive for Bradley, she actually improved and evolved and realized she acted like a violent toddler,” Redditor EmilieVitnux said.
However, episode 5 of the season finally gave us some answers about how they actually broke up and why. Apparently, they ended their relationship during the pandemic. For those who don't remember, in season 2 they decided to move in together and stay at Laura's ranch in Montana during the pandemic.
While this meant that they had a lot of time together to get to know each other, it also meant that they had to move quickly with their relationship. But there was another major thing that happened that forced their relationship to lose its energy: it's the death of Bradley's mother, who passed away from the coronavirus.
Laura had tried to use her connections to help her, but Bradley knew that wouldn't work with his mother because of her personality. And that was something that Laura couldn't really understand. So this just led to a huge fight between them where they both said a lot of horrible things to each other and apparently decided to end their relationship.
While that was really tough, it seems like fans shouldn't give up on them. In episode 4, we even saw Laura and Bradley admit that they still have feelings for each other. Maybe they will find a way to be together after all.
