Even a successful sequel can disappoint fans in some way.

Better Call Saul is a unique example of a spin-off becoming just as great as the parent show. After Breaking Bad became a smash hit and made people all over the world literally obsessed with the story, it was just a matter of time for a spinoff to arrive.

And for the new show, creator Vince Gilligan decided to take a closer look at a crucial Breaking Bad character Jimmy "Saul Goodman" McGill, brilliantly portrayed by Bob Odenkirk.

The plot of the show focuses on exploring Goodman’s complicated relationships with the people in his life as well as the legal system. And frankly, the show really became an independent series, and not just a great show’s prequel.

Fans love Better Call Saul for a lot of reasons. It has drama, a touch of comedy, as well as many memorable twists and turns in each season. But even in a show like that, there are episodes that come in last on a ranking list.

IMDb fans, while making this list, decided that out of all the 63 episodes, the season 1 episode titled Alpine Shepherd Boy is at the bottom and has the lowest rating. The episode is actually tied with the season 2 episode Rebecca, although the latter is way up in the rankings.

But that's just what IMDb users think; let’s see what Redditors have to say. In a typical thread called “What’s the worst episode of the show?” fans started a huge discussion, trying to pick that worst episode.

Some episodes did come up more often than others, for example the episode from season 6, titled Black and Blue, season 1 episode Marco and Talk from season 4.

But the most interesting thing is that whenever someone called the episode "the worst,” the army of defenders arrived in the comment section to prove them wrong. So the thread basically turned into a discussion of how great every episode of the show is.

“This whole thread is “someone names an episode”. Then “I disagree that episode is good”. That’s how you know the show is good. None of us can even agree what a bad episode is,” Redditor Skizzius said.

This proves once again that if the show is good in general, choosing the "worst episode" is just a matter of subjective attitude.
