Let's say it together: Carnival Row was too short, added too abruptly, and we need more!

Right, do you feel better now or do you still want more? Because if you do, we feel you.

Carnival Row took many years to come to life, and when it finally did, it became a phenomenon. A fresh take on fantasy, beautifully crafted, and enveloped in the grim aesthetic of The Burgue…

It was a journey and a half, but the fact that it ended so abruptly feels unfair.

The ending was bleak, too; even though it was supposed to be this way, the only person who genuinely enjoyed it was, apparently, Orlando Bloom.

Fans, on the other hand, are left striving for more. Some even create lists of additional materials in attempts to sate their Carnival Row hunger; others debate on the ending and come up with possible spin-off ideas.

One such idea drew our attention as it's based on the relationship of admittedly the most captivating duo in the show: Imogen and Agreus.

Neither of them is a hero, but they do develop towards each other to the point where they start making sense together, and the fact that we didn't get to see that only adds to the bittersweet feeling after the show's finale.

Reddit user RedSiren2 suggested a spin-off about the children of the main characters — now please, put the weapons down, it's not The Cursed Child 2.0. This actually feels like something we'd all love to see.

Though the idea is rather vague, they suggest that Imogen and Agreus have a child, as well as Vignette and Tourmaline who adopt one, and Philo with his new wife (maybe even Milworthy found one, too?..).

For their generation, there's a lot of change in the world and in The Burgue itself.

New technologies come up, new political and social changes and movements emerge, the tensions start growing again…

And in the center of it all, are the kids of Carnival Row's main characters who try to find their own way in this world and bring positive change to it.

This definitely sounds like a great idea for the future… But whatever the show's creators actually decide to do doesn't matter as much: all we really need is more Carnival Row. Please.
