One Young and Restless Character Fans Would Happily Get Rid Of
There is one character on The Young And The Restless series who seems to make fans sick with her life choices.
Victoria Newman is one of the characters that has been on the show from its very beginning.
And throughout all these years, she hasn't managed to find her way into the hearts of the fans of the CBS daytime drama.
Although Victoria probably started out as just an annoying little girl, after a while she turned into a "spoiled rotten little b*tch who needs a 'come to Jesus' meeting", as fans put it.
But there is an explanation to that and, as usual, it comes from childhood. Poor life choices, a villainous personality, a self-destructive side, and an inability to distinguish right from wrong.
All these characteristics fit perfectly on her personality. And fans seem to know why.
"Victoria has always been daddy's girl, and craves his approval when it comes to business but can't stand it when he meddles in her personal life.
She makes awful decisions when it comes to love, and never seems to learn from her mistakes. It would be nice to see Victoria develop a softer side. We never see her with her kids, unless it's when she's fretting over Johnny.
She has zero friends, I think because she only sees people as a means to an end. I used to like the character but they've really destroyed her," Reddit user Dottegirl67 explained.
Although part of the audience feels the need to somehow justify her behavior, still the rest of it is pretty sure about what should happen to Victoria later and what kind of character's "development" she deserves.
"I don't want her to disappear I just want her to finally "get hers", you know actually face consequences for the sh*tty things she does.
She's not a good person and I want her to finally have awful sh*t happen to her. The whole Ashland storyline was a damn waste.
It could've been great but Nick got away with murder and Victoria moved on like nothing happened," Reddit user SophiesMommy21 said.
Well, fans still seem to be on the fence about Victoria's character. But it looks like the writers are doing their best now to make her show her true colors after all.
