Tom may be happy for now, but he's yet to discover the hardships of this position.

Though the finale of Succession didn't fail to surprise fans, some major plot twists were already identified by viewers all over the Internet.

Boiling over with theories, Succession Reddit and Twitter fans almost perfectly described how each of the characters would end up, even though the chances of that happening were equally slim for each and every one of them.

One thing that hasn't been discussed much, both on the show and by fans, is the fate that awaits Logan Roy's (sorry, Kendall) real oldest son, Connor Roy.

Many believe that the man was dealt a lucky card and ended up in the best position of all possible.

Being the eldest, Connor had the privilege of knowing his father a little better than the rest of his children. Considering his lack of charm, Logan Roy might not have been the best role model for a young boy, but it gave Connor a chance to grow up watching him set up the younger kids for the big fight ahead. So he made the right choice and stayed away.

For someone who was introduced to the show as a complete monster of a person, shocking the audience with his eagerness to buy out an entire person just to entertain himself, Connor ended up in a better place than all of them.

Both physically and mentally, getting Logan's former New York apartment in better shape and sharing some heartfelt memories of the Roy patriarch.

While Shiv is trapped in an unhappy marriage with Tom, deceived by the proximity of power and his own ambition, Kendall is broken by loss, and Roman is seemingly free but also completely lost, Connor is seemingly happy and in a perfect place to grow.

All the siblings could theoretically have their happy endings, but giving it to the one no one was rooting for all along was the most unexpected move the writers could make.

If you miss the Roy siblings in a 4 season battle for the succession of Waystar Royco, you can always watch it from the beginning on MAX.
