He would be too powerful with the right person by his side.

While casual viewers of The Boys rarely agree with the agenda of the show's antagonist, Homelander, the public in the universe truly loves and roots for him. Although many believed that people would follow him as long as he didn't show his true colors, the season 3 finale showed just how far American citizens are willing to go to support him.

However, in order to gain the highest level of respect from the audience, Homelander is missing one crucial element: he's not married. Of course, for the man in his 30s or 40s, that's no big deal, but the clock is ticking, bringing him closer to the point where he'll be expected to show up with his perfect conservative wife.

Knowing that Supes in the universe get married and divorced easily, judging by the examples of Deep and Translucent, the leader of the Seven could go that route. While this would theoretically enhance his prestige, many fans feel that Homelander's family would be unsustainable.

First of all, for a long time, no one was aware of his ability to produce children. The picture-perfect family without children wouldn't be so picture-perfect anymore and would raise a wave of uncomfortable questions that no one wanted to deal with. So the idea was probably out of the question in the first place.

Considering the fact that Homelander has always been given much more freedom than anyone else on the team, Vaught's people probably expected things to happen naturally at some point. Whether it was the romance with Maeve or Stormfront, Homelander was no stranger to women, and some of his relationships could have gone further.

After all, marrying an ordinary woman in Homelander's position would have been a very bad decision. Not necessarily for Homelander himself, but for the woman and his tormented publicity team. Every marriage sooner or later faces some difficulties, but Homelander's snap in an argument would probably be fatal for any woman he faced.

Do you think Homelander would benefit from marriage?

Either way, we don't know what to expect from Homelander in the upcoming Season 4. Now that he is reunited with his son, the image of a happy family may not even need another character. Be sure to stay tuned for all the news and updates on The Boys to not miss a release date announcement!
