One Marvel Cliche Fans Would Hate to See in Upcoming Avengers Movies
Every Avengers movie has it, and it's high time to stop.
Even though Marvel Cinematic Universe is not in the best shape right now due to the latest films and series that many fans consider to be mediocre to put it mildly, it is still very unlikely that the next Avengers movie will not be a box-office success.
Scheduled to hit theaters in 2025, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will follow the storyline of Kang The Conqueror, a new global threat.
The character has been introduced in recent Marvel productions, including the relatively positive version featured in the Disney+ series Loki and a more evil iteration in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Although the next Avengers movie is highly expected, fans expressed some fears that it is going to have the same cliche every Avengers movie had.
If you remember all the Avengers movies, in the end of each of those the protagonists ended up fighting a huge faceless army.
In the first Avengers movie it was an army of The Chitauri led by Loki. In Avengers: Age of Ultron it was an army of Ultron's robots. And in both Infinity War and Endgame it was The Chitauri again but this time led by Thanos.
Fans are hoping that the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty movie will avoid repeating the same scenario.
However, there are those who argue that including this kind of a canon fodder in such a big-budget crossover is necessary to showcase the beloved heroes battling against a formidable army.
But some fans claim there are other ways to do it, recalling a scene on Titan in Infinity War when heroes had to fight Thanos himself.
Also, some people point out that the main antagonist of the Multiverse Saga is Kang The Conqueror himself. In the original source, the heroes had to find an army of Kang's variants.
And we already happened to see a bunch of Kangs in the post credit scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. So it is very likely that we will see the same Avengers vs. multiple Kangs scene on the big screen.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is set to hit theaters in May 2025.
