One HoTD Actress is So Bad With Social Media Castmates Think She Ghosts Them
She is a Targaryen royal, not some sort of a Twitter influencer, duh.
It turns out that one particular member of the House of the Dragon cast is ridiculously bad with social media — to the point that her fellow castmates think she is just ghosting them.
We're talking about the actress behind Rhaenys Targaryen, Eve Best, who has admitted that she "literally doesn't understand how it works". In a series of Q&As with Sky TV, Best revealed that she is "rubbish" at social media.
She is not even a part of the Game of Thrones chat — mostly because due to her failure to answer to messages, castmates would think she simply ghosted them... at least that's what Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon) said.
He also joked that it was "annoying" (at least we hope it was a joke), because at some point, people just had to tell Eve where and when to show up — without ever getting any kind of a message back.
Laughing it off, Best said that she "wouldn't even try" to get into social media and instead have Toussaint explain to her what to do.
She might be bad at tweeting and dropping Instagram stories, but after all, her character is the Queen Who Never Was, and she also had one of the most intimidating dragons in the show — Meleys, the Red Queen. Who needs social media when you have that?
House of the Dragon season 1 is available for streaming on HBO Max. Season 2 has already been greenlit by the network, with the shooting to begin in early 2023. The premiere date will be scheduled by HBO later.
