Gossip Girl is one of the most celebrated TV Shows of all time. The show has been nominated for multiple awards and has won several.

From the first episode all the way back in 2007 to the finale in 2012, the show has had many memorable moments. It's even common to come across people discussing it even though it ended a decade ago.

Gossip Girl was successful for a multitude of reasons. For instance, the perspective it took to show how social media can take over people's lives was very poignant for its time. Furthermore, the characters and drama surrounding their lives were also a treat to watch. The show featured a host of stars and starlets that went on to do great things.

The likes of Blake Lively and Penn Badgley became household names thanks to the series, and their characters, Serena van der Woodsen and Dan Humphrey got their happily ever after. However, that wasn't the case for Chace Crawford's Nate Archibald. He didn't receive the same love or even have his own happy ending. This has led many fans to believe he was "robbed" of his closure.

Nate was a character that many women dream of having. While not perfect (let's face it. Who is?), he showed himself to be thoughtful, kind, observant, and compassionate. He was more innocent than the other characters of the show, who went on to have an ending that was satisfactory, the point being.

He was supportive and enamored by Blake Lively's Serena and told her that he loved her and definitely meant it. However, she decided to go with someone who insulted her for years and was a constant thorn in her side.

His story arc has fans wondering if he did deserve what happened. He ended up alone and unhappy by the time the show ended. Was it really the only way his story could go? We're familiar with the notion of tragedy. Everyone loves a "good guy losing" story, but was it warranted in his case?

He came from a similar background to all the other characters. Still, he was left out of the lasting happiness everyone else got to have. When the show ended, Blair and Chuck (played by Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick) got together, and so did Serena and Dan. So Nate was left all alone with no one by his side. It's actually pretty sad, but it's something that's a part of life, so there's that, at least.
