Did we really need to see it again?

It's no wonder that Avengers: Endgame is still a bittersweet movie for many fans.

The Avengers team was the one that introduced many fans not only to the MCU, but to comic books as well, so it wasn't easy to say goodbye and know that you'll never see them all on the same screen again.

However, that is not the only reason for fans to squint a little when remembering the movie, as it had one of the cringiest moments in the entire history of MCU releases.

The "girl power" scene went viral right after the movie premiered, but for all the wrong reasons.

While the majority of Marvel fans are not opposed to the idea of a strong female superhero or the unity of such, the way the directors showed it in Endgame just felt unnatural and silly.

Many couldn't help but cringe at the pompous "She's got help" line and the slow-motion assembly of all the movie's heroines for one fight.

What makes fans even more confused about this scene is why the team felt the need to include it in the first place.

Every character shown could be just as badass in the fight between the others, and as far as female power moves go, they already had a perfectly good one earlier in the franchise.

"It's kind of funny because a similar scene is done way more naturally in Infinity War where Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, and Okoye all are near each other and help each other kill one of Thanos' lieutenants," Redditor sonfoa pointed out while reflecting on the scene in Endgame.

Unlike the Endgame scene, all of the heroines in Infinity War knew each other, worked together, and had a common goal, which only added to the drama.

The fight scenes are usually cool to watch on their own, but the backstory that ties the characters together in battle is what makes them worth the screen time.

If you want to re-watch the movies and decide which scene was better for you, you can do so by streaming them on Disney Plus.
