One Down: This Deadpool 2 Star Is Not Coming Back for the Finale
While the audience is expecting many Marvel stars to join the last installment of Deadpool, there's news of the previous entry's star missing from the next movie.
We all love the Deadpool movies for their insane action sequences and unorthodox sense of humor… As well as for their brutality which is uncommon for Marvel entries.
Both already released movies managed to deliver, and we shouldn't only praise Ryan Reynolds for that: some characters added as much as his Deadpool.
In fact, the most thrilling and fun action sequences in Deadpool 2 had little to do with the Merc with a Mouth himself.
Deadpool's style is phenomenal, but the audience was understandably used to it by that time, and the movie's creators pulled off their lucky card — or, rather, their lucky domino chip on us to keep it interesting.
To keep it real, Domino was by no means one of the main characters of Deadpool 2, but she was most definitely among the most memorable.
The only surviving member of the Merc's quickly assembled superhero-wannabe team X Force, Domino boasted a rather unique ability that made her sequences both funny and cool-looking.
Domino's mutation somehow provided her with ultimate luck: no matter the circumstances, everything would always turn out in her favor.
The action sequences featuring Domino were just as thrilling as they were mocking the action genre itself: Domino highlighted how much luck it really took to pull off crazy superhero tricks.
Unfortunately, despite the hopes of seeing this character again in the finale of the franchise, the actress who played Domino, Zazie Beetz, confirmed that she won't appear in Deadpool 3 and was not approached with an invitation to join it.
Since it was a general consensus that Zazie's character was coming back for the last installment, the actress was asked about the movie's production — and she had to finally spill the truth.
"Well I'm actually not in Deadpool 3, so I don't know what they're doing. I'm assuming they're probably taking a pause… I'm excited to watch it," Beetz replied.
As unlucky as it is (got it?), there's still hope that Zazie's Domino will make an appearance in some other Marvel Universe movie or series.
After all, the unbelievably lucky mutant is too fun of a gimmick, and we're really surprised that Deadpool 3's creators decided against saving Domino for the finale.
