Finding another popular show with the same levels of violence and gore as Yellowstone is not so easy: this series is way too brutal for many viewers, and some of the scenes are physically hard to watch.

We don't think any of the viewers need special reminders about the most disturbing scenes. The memories of Wade Morrow's punishment, Sarah's murder, or Beth's office attack are hard to forget as it is already…

And disturbing for many fans, apparently.

However, one scene, in particular, stood out even by Yellowstone 's standards. It's not like it's more gruesome than all the others; it's just unnecessary and cringe if we're being completely honest.

In the seemingly never ending war between the Duttons and the Becks, there was more than just your average fair share of gore.

These two families' members are always out to get each other, and murder is their main method, so there's no surprise in that… But even in a vendetta, some deaths can seem out of place.

Ask yourself: has any other murder in Yellowstone been as useless, random, and cringe as Teal's?

Kacey Dutton sneaks into Teal Beck's house, finds the man on the toilet, and shoots him twice in the stomach.

As Teal is bleeding out, they have a proper gentleman's discussion, and with one more encouraging shot, Teal reveals the Becks' kidnapping location.

During their discussion, Teal admits that he doesn't want to die on a toilet, but Kacey denies the man his right to die with honor since he took part in kidnapping Kacey's son.

It is revealed that Kacey had promised his wife to kill Teal in the most humiliating way possible, and the toilet plays the part perfectly.

After a bit more chit-chat, Kacey finishes off his counterpart and leaves. That's it. That's the scene.

Now, don't get us wrong: deaths on a toilet are nothing new. Probably the most iconic toilet murder of the past years was Tywin Lannister's death in Game of Thrones, and it didn't damage the show's reputation in the slightest back then.

But the thing with toilet murders is that since they're always very unexpected for a viewer they make for a perfect plot twist, but also they often leave the audience in a weird mix of confusion and disgust.

Teal Beck's death definitely lacked any substance to the storyline: it was fairly useless and painful to watch… And cringe, as we already said.
