Noah Schnapp Breaks Silence on His Beef With Doja Cat Over Joseph Quinn
Spill that tea, bestie.
After days of social media buzz around that particular TikTok video with a DM screenshot from Doja Cat, Noah Schnapp from 'Stranger Things ' has finally weighed in on what turned into an actual drama.
A quick "that's what you missed on Glee " recap: last week, Noah decided to post a TikTok where he revealed a DM from rapper Doja Cat who asked him to set her up with Schnapp's castmate Joseph Quinn who portrayed Eddie Munson in 'Stranger Things'. Schnapp did refer Doja to Quinn's Instagram, but the fact that he shared the messages without her consent appeared to not only trigger many people on social media but spark ire from Doja herself. In her video message, the rapper said that what Noah did was borderline "snake s**t".
It looks like Noah himself also did not have an "engage in a beef with Doja Cat over your castmate" option on his 2022 bingo. In yet another TikTok video, Schnapp clarified that he did apologize to Doja, and the rapper accepted it and even said she was sorry for her own harsh reaction.
Discussing his bombshell post with Variety, Schnapp admitted that he is "super unserious on social media and pretty goofy", so he posted Doja's DMs without "thinking too much of it", but "obviously it hurt her feelings". However, the apology did seem to make things right between the two.
"I love her. I'm like the biggest fan of her music, and I told her that. I was like, you're literally my role model. It's all good. People make such a big deal out of everything when it's on the internet, but, like, in reality, it's like a two-minute thing," Schnapp assured Variety.
So it would seem there is no more beefing between Noah Schnapp and Doja Cat. As to the possible love story between the rapper and Joseph Quinn… let these two have some privacy whatever the outcome of Doja's shot was, shall we?
