We know that MAX has ordered the show, but all the other details are still under wraps. Fans have been relentless in cooking up theories and suggestions for this new series, and here are some of the best ones.

5. Older Georgie

The eldest Cooper kid is twice divorced by the time The Big Bang Theory starts, and as an adult, he is a bit of a jerk who bears no resemblance to the sweet Georgie we know from Young Sheldon.

Judging by the prequel's timeline, Mandy could very well be his first wife, and they are so adorable that fans can't imagine them breaking up (and we are right there with them).

A post-TBBT Georgie spinoff could shed light on how he and Mandy work things out and find their way back to each other.

4. Older Missy

In season 6, Missy has gotten far more interesting (and annoying). Just like with Georgie, it would be interesting to see how she gets over her rebellious phase and grows into her adult persona (pre-TBBT or post-TBBT).

Seeing as she is the forgotten child, Missy deserves a spinoff more than anyone else. Just imagine watching her handle her four kids and find happiness in life… A dream come true!

3. Young Howard

This character has had a rough time growing up and is no less fascinating than Sheldon. It would be totally fun to see how he became a successful engineer and what happened to him before he ended up as Leonard's geeky friend in TBBT.

His prequel could follow the same timeline as Young Sheldon and tell the story of how Howard's dad leaves the family and how Howard and his mom cope without him.

2. Young Mary

Mary wasn't always the uptight stick-in-the-mud she is in Young Sheldon, and we'd like to know how that is possible in a prequel to the prequel.

We could get a glimpse of Mary and George's love story and Mary's religious journey following Missy's health issues.

The fun part of all this is that we'll get to see an even younger version of Connie and her marriage to Charlie!

1. Older Raj

The Big Bang Theory did Raj dirty. This character has grown the most on the show and deserves a happy ending.

After all, he has been looking for love for years, and we never got to witness his meet-cute story with the "and they lived happily ever after" ending.

There are so many possibilities for a Raj-centric spinoff! If only Kunal Nayyar was interested in carrying on the legacy!
