Mark your calendars.

November promises to be bountiful in terms of both new, intriguing premieres and new seasons to hits beloved by millions of fans.

From a culinary reality show to another adaptation of a spy drama, projects for all tastes will hit the small screen this month.

1. Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking

Release Date: November 14

Streaming Platform: Max

While fans wait for details on the new adaptation in the form of an HBO series, a truly important and necessary project based on the franchise is coming. We are talking about a culinary reality show that will glorify all those bizarre and delicious dishes that J. K. Rowling described in her books.

The show will be limited to cakes. The best bakers will have to demonstrate their talent by creating themed desserts based on the universe – in the form of textbooks, cups and even Phoenix. The hosts will be brothers James and Oliver Phelps.

2. The Day of the Jackal

Release Date: November 14

Streaming Platform: Peacock

The Day of the Jackal is a classic British detective story by Frederick Forsyth. The novel has been adapted for the screen twice: almost verbatim in 1973 and with significant changes in 1997. The new version also takes some liberties with the original source.

The action is set in the present day, and the cat-and-mouse game unfolds across Europe. The dangerous mercenary nicknamed the Jackal was played by Eddie Redmayne.

The main role of the British special agent was played by Lashana Lynch, who has already appeared in a similar role on the screen: she played Bond's replacement for the position of 007 in No Time to Die.

3. Arcane Season 2

Release Date: November 9

Streaming Platform: Netflix

After three years of waiting, Arcane is almost back with its final second season, split into three acts that will air on Netflix one week apart. The new episodes will wrap up the story of Vi and Jinx, two separated sisters, as the cities of Piltover and Zaun clash.

While this is sad news for fans of the show and the League of Legends game, the upside of ending so soon is that Arcane will be leaving on a creative high, which is rare for animated series. Plus, Netflix likely has half a dozen spin-offs and other projects based on the game's universe in the works, so there won't be much time to get bored.

4. Silo Season 2

Release Date: November 15

Streaming Platform: Apple TV+

One of the biggest hits on Apple TV+ is also almost back for a second season. The second season of the dystopian sci-fi about life in the harsh post-apocalyptic world will tell the story of Juliette, who has made it safely to the surface, as well as the woman's home bunker, which is shocked by what has happened.

A total of ten episodes are expected to be released on the streaming service by mid-January.

5. Dune: Prophecy

Release Date: November 17

Streaming Platform: Max

Prophecy is both a spin-off and a prequel to Denis Villeneuve's Dune. The series will take viewers back in time, ten thousand years before the events of the movies. The Harkonnen sisters, in an attempt to save humanity, founded an organization that would later become known as the Bene Gesserit.

The show went through more than one change of creators before Westworld producer Alison Schapker took over the project. The good news is that we can expect only six episodes and a lot of politics.
