Are you nervous about what could happen to Negan in the final three episodes of The Walking Dead? One of the spinoffs has already teased his fate.

While The Walking Dead fans are anxiously waiting for the release of the series finale, the creators of the show produce numerous spinoffs which are already ruining the fans' experience with the original show. Thus, the sacrifice of Negan teased in season 11, episode 21 was already canceled by The Walking Dead: Dead City.

In episode Outpost 22, Negan teamed up with Ezekiel to fight against the Commonwealth. Among other things, Negan said in the episode that he was not expecting to survive in the battle, which made fans believe that Negan would sacrifice himself in order to take down the Commonwealth. However, the fans apparently have nothing to worry about since Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan has already been announced as part of The Walking Dead spinoff, Dead City.

Walking Dead Star is Unhappy With Ezekiel's Final Story, Makes It Known

Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be joined by Lauren Cohan playing Maggie. It means that whatever happens in the remaining three episodes of the final season, no matter how bad the situation gets for Negan or Maggie, they will make it, so all the suffering Negan's going to go through in the series finale is already meaningless somewhat.

Besides Negan and Maggie, another major character is sure to come out of the series alive, according to the spinoff spoilers. Norman Reedus' Daryl will become the lead character in the upcoming spinoff titled Daryl Dixon.

This hype surrounding TWD's spinoffs is annoying for the fans of the original show, who feel that it takes away any suspense from the final episodes.

Why bother worrying about the characters who will definitely stay alive?

At the same time, all the announcements of spinoffs make the list of the characters potentially dying in the finale very short.

"Is anyone else as annoyed by the announcement of spin-off shows for Daryl or Rick and Michonne or even Maggie and Negan as I am? Maybe I'm being overly critical, but basically we now know 100% of these characters survive the series, so it takes away any suspense of them possibly dying or turning in the last season. As much as I love Daryl I think it would have been fitting to have him do some big crazy heroic sacrifice for Judith or Carol or something for the LAST season of the show. Just a bummer and makes me feel like we can expect a lot of filler and fake build-up for the conclusion of what I used to think was one of the best shows out since most of the beloved characters are getting their own show afterwards," a fan explained on Reddit.

It remains a mystery why the creators didn't wait until after the original show is over to announce spinoffs.
