NCIS Wilmer Valderrama’s Recent Revelations Are Yet Another Sinister Omen for Season 22
As if NCIS fans had no other reasons to worry about the upcoming new installment.
The NCIS franchise still has several more months to prepare its grand comeback to the screens with the original show’s season 22 and two more spinoffs, yet it already gave its fans a bunch of hints at something bad coming in the next installment, and one of the series’ actors has just made it all worse.
NCIS season 21 ended on two major cliffhangers, suggesting that Jessica Knight will now be torn between her desire to get her dream job and her love for Jimmy Palmer, while also making it clear that Alden Parker had some kind of sinister secret that will surely be unveiled in the next season.
Though nothing specific has been said so far about these two plot twists, Wilmer Valderrama has a much more common recap of the upcoming installment, and it sounds much more horrifying than anything that has been revealed before.
In one of his recent interviews, Nick Torres’ actor couldn’t avoid spilling some tea about NCIS’ next season for the fans that keep counting down the days until the new episodes are finally dropped on CBS.
Admitting that he felt he had to give some kind of update ahead of the season 22 release, Valderrama unveiled a very unexpected (and pretty much undesired) detail, making it clear that viewers had no chances to see the same that they had been witnessing on NCIS during all those 21 years.
According to the actor, “I think it's not going to be your casual like, 'Oh, your favorite team is in trouble.’ It's going to be more personal, more soul-shattering. There'll be some [tragedy] this season.”
Valderrama’s revelation might suggest a shocking plot twist that nobody really saw coming. Since so far there’s no reason to think one of Special Agents will die next season, this may still play out in a different manner leading to a death of someone close to one of the main characters.
With Jessica Knight being worried about her potential move to Camp Pendleton, far away from Jimmy, something like this is very unlikely to happen to her. However, the whole tragedy could be part of Alden Parker’s mysterious vision that clearly suggested a passing of someone he was very close with.
NCIS will finally unveil all the secrets when its season 22 arrives on CBS with a premiere episode airing on October 14.
